Privacy notice
How we handle your data.
Last updated 19 May 2026.
Who we are
Kylam’s Studio is a trading name of StreamlineXpert Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15222760. Our registered office is 81a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
Questions, requests, or complaints about your data: [email protected].
What we collect
We only collect personal data you choose to send us. In practice that means:
- Enquiry emails. When you email us via the links on this site, your email address, name, and the contents of your message are received and stored in our mailbox.
- Project information. If we work together, we hold what you share so we can scope, build, and support the work. That’s usually business contact details and project content.
- Invoicing records. Where money changes hands, we keep records HMRC requires us to keep (company name, contact details, amounts, dates).
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers on this site. No cookies are set for tracking purposes.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
- Responding to enquiries: legitimate interests (running our business and answering people who contact us).
- Delivering projects: performance of a contract with you (or steps to enter into one).
- Accounting and tax records: compliance with our legal obligations (Companies Act, HMRC).
Who sees it
Your data stays with us. We use a small number of standard business tools (email hosting, cloud storage, accounting software, payment processing) which act as data processors under written agreements with us. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Some of these processors may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement, adequacy regulations, or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and project records for 7 years from the date of last contact, in line with HMRC’s record-keeping requirements for UK limited companies. After that, records are deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete data sooner. See “Your rights” below.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it if it’s wrong;
- ask us to delete it (subject to our legal obligation to keep accounting records);
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of it;
- receive a copy in a portable format.
Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
